Starters -- Point guard Tony Parker, Shooting guard Manu Ginobili, Center Fabricio Oberto, Power forward Tim Duncan, Small forward Bruce Bowen. Bench -- Forward Michael Finley, Center Francisco Elson, Forward Robert Horry, Forward Matt Bonner, Guard Beno Udrih, Guard Brent Barry, Guard Jacque Vaughn.

PLAYER NOTES

--Forward Eric Williams, who had not been on the active list for four of the previous five games, played 17:37, made 4-of-9 three-point shots and scored 14 points.

--Guard Beno Udrih was the first guard off the bench for the first time in three games. He played 12:54, but did not score.

--Guard Tony Parker scored 22 points in the first half, but only two in the second half.

I really don't know how the Spurs are just one game back from the division lead.  Pop gets these roles players and somehow convinces them to play tough defense (many for the first time in the NBA), next thing you know the opposing team is shooting 40%.

Throw in a little TD and you get victories.  I don't know of an ...(more)
