--Center Francisco Elson suffered a right shoulder impingement in the third quarter, but returned to the game.

--The Spurs gave up 76 points in the paint, high for the season, which prompted defensive standout Bruce Bowen to question the team's effort. "It's disappointing," Bowen said. "Defensively, it's something the coaching staff has prepared us for, talked to us and told us it's something we can't continue to do. The message isn't being received by us."
